A metropolitan environment lives from creative quarters and urbane spaces in a concentrated atmosphere that is both inviting and attractive because it offers many exciting experiences within a small radius.

The basic preconditions are optimal. The quarter is situated between the Playhouse, the Bermuda Triangle and St Mary’s Church. The latter is now being adapted for new uses and, together with the new building of the Bochum Symphonic Hall, this will give the area a decisive boost. A new comedy theatre belonging to the author and cabaret performer, Frank Goosen, is under construction at the moment and St Mary’s Church will soon be put to a new cultural use as a concert hall and café. All this means that the quarter is predestined to become a new centre for performing arts, music and literature. As an added extra, the area is ideally rounded off by its proximity to the Bermuda Triangle, a cult area of bars, discotheques and restaurants.
