"CREATIVE CLASS RUHR" is a festival of creative sector companies in the Ruhr metropolis. Designers, artists, architects, musicians, dancers, actors, photographers, filmmakers, writers, comic strip designers, illustrators and gamers invite you to visit CREATIVE CLASS RUHR.
The Ruhr metropolis shows off its creative scene: exhibitions, workshops, themed walks, interactive events, shopping events, concerts, parties, presentations, cinemas, performances, gaming, pop-up stores and happenings are all on the agenda. More than 500 events all over the Ruhr metropolis invite visitors to a wide variety of activities.
Whether it's unconventional up-and-comers or internationally active agencies, there will be lots to discover behind the scenes as well. Anyone can browse the creative quarters or trendy backyards to be inspired and experience the Ruhr lifestyle first hand.
The festival depends on the creativity and authenticity of the more than 500 event creators who design their events individually and thereby give the Ruhr metropolis its unique flair.
CREATIVE CLASS RUHR has its roots in the ESSEN CREATIVE CLASS FESTIVAL which has been organized by the Zollverein Foundation since 2007.
