"The Market" - that is the subject of an international photography competition in 2010. The theme gives participants lots of room for interpretation.
A broad spectrum of possible motives is possible, whether it's kids trading sandwiches and candy bars during school breaks, traditional farmers' markets, Internet trading, the regional labour market or the international finance trade.
Anyone interested in participating and wanting to further hone their photography skills can do so in workshops and seminars on offer by Dortmund's Fachhochschule für Fotografie, the Ruhr regional group of Freelens and the Escuela de Arte (Oviedo, Spain).
The competition's goal is to further the exchange and interaction between photographers in a sustainable manner and to create an international network of photographers.
Partners: Pascal Amos Rest, Freelens e. V., Holger Jacoby, Freelens e. V., Prof. Cindy Gates, Fachhochschule Dortmund, Escuela de Arte – Oviedo/Spain
