Fashion is a universal and creative language - designed to conceal or reveal. Everywhere in the world, apparel is statement. Fashion design from other countries reflects personal qualities - beauty, aesthetics, humour, the strange and the evocative. An international fashion show tells the stories of the textiles - eclectic, self-willed and surprising.
Six countries are due to present their collections at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum, their creations ranging from sumptuous eveningwear to modern reduced couture inspired by traditional colours, styles and fabrics.
