Young people 14 and up are invited to a convention focused on their future working lives. The event is organized by the German Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition (DASA) and will take place in September 2010. Participants will be able to learn much about the careers of the future, particularly in the creative, cultural and communications sectors. Music, entertainment and other surprises will also be part of the program.

The youth congress will focus on Europe with its different school and training systems as well as career paths in the communications, creative and cultural sectors. Visitors will be advised individually, realistically and in a practice-oriented manner on how to best prepare themselves for these careers and on what entry level jobs may provide the best opportunities for them.

They'll furthermore be able to make contact with companies and training centres in the region at the "Market of Opportunities" where the students can talk with organizations' representatives at eye level and without the pressure they might feel in a job interview. They can also ask questions in town hall forums moderated by well-known radio and TV personalities. Special exhibitions by DASA will showcase interesting career opportunities in the creative and cultural sectors.

The diverse program also features fun events like music, a rally, walk-acts, streetdance, chill-out areas and other surprises.

The non-commercial DASA youth convention has been taking place for more than 10 years and is an important platform introducing young people to the opportunities that await them after school.
