RUHR.2010-Cup

Young players (U-19 - 18 years and younger) from eight major European football clubs will meet at the RUHR.2010 Cup, an international football tournament taking place May 20 – 24, 2010.
The teams will demonstrate that sports are also a part of the Ruhr's culture by competing for the RUHR.2010 Cup. Players will come from eight renowned clubs: In addition to Ruhr metropolis representatives Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund, two more German youth teams will compete for the cup, Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen. The International competition consists of AC Mailand, FC Liverpool, Fenerbahce Istanbul and the South African Kaizer Chiefs.
The contest will start with the group stage (4 teams each) from May 20 to May 22, 2010 in Dortmund, Lünen, Hagen, Holzwickede, Wiedenbrück and Wanne-Eickel. The big matches for first to fourth place will take place May 24 at Dortmund’s Rote Erde stadium.
