Active Participation

You are a conductor or a conducting student and interested in the International Conductors' Academy Ruhr - Voice and Orchestra? Please send the following documents by 22nd of July 2010:

• Application form (completed and signed)
• Form for reference (completed and signed)
• DVD with a selection of various works
  (lablled with the name of the applicant and the DVD content)
• 2 recent photos
• Copy of passport

In the event of you being accepted as an active participant you will be asked to pay the application fee of EUR 200,00 by bank transfer. N.B. The fee will be refunded to you on your arrival in Bochum.

You will be received in Bochum with free board and lodging and take part free of charge in all events of the International Conductors' Academy Ruhr – Voice and Orchestra. (In individual cases and subject to application a travel allowance may also be granted.) From the eight active participants three conducting fellows will be selected to take part in the masterclasses with the renowned guest conductors.

Please understand that we cannot return application materials. Unsuccessful applicants have however the option of registering as a passive participants and taking part in the "wild card" auditions.
