I sing, you sing, we sing. DAY OF SONG will turn the Ruhr Metropolis into a Choir Metropolis on 4th and 5th June 2010 - and everybody is invited to sing along.
Ik zing, tu chantes, cantiamo. On Friday, 4th June 2010, when the host choirs invite to several concerts of encounter with their international guests in many towns, the focus of !SING TWINS will be to exchange an international collection of songs and to celebrate together. 1,500 singers from 15 countries already signed up. And an international concert will take place in the Philharmonie Essen especially for widely travelled children’s choirs. Whether a French sailor’s song, a Finnish nursery rhyme or a Polish canon, there is an unlimited diversity of !SING TWINS.
I sing! Ty s´piewasz! Or better: Hep birlikte şarkı söylüyoruz - wir singen alle - we all sing! The highlight of the DAY OF SONG will be the common final concert !SING EUROPE in the evening of 5th June 2010 in the VELTINSArena at Gelsenkirchen. The Ruhr singers and their guests will meet Bobby McFerrin, the WISE GUYS and many more celebrities.
