The municipality of Werne invites 100 young people from six different nations to attend an international youth meeting. In various projects, the participants from Werne and the twin towns Bailleul (F), Lytham St. Annes (GB), Kyritz (D), Wałcz (PL), Poggibonsi (I) and Sisli/Istanbul (TR) will work on facing similarities and differences between their individual life situations.

Thus, they will fix their every-day life on photographic papers according to the motto "show your city, your family, your friends - show yourself" and combine them to an overall picture with the help of an artistic photographer. Additionally, young artists from seven towns have started simultaneously to create art work on a defined pair of topics and to send them on a trip to the other six towns. At each station, the works will undergo further processing. When the "scale art" reaches its goal, seven pictures or sculptures jointly created on subjects such as Europe and the World, War and Peace or Young and Old may be admired by the audience. And, what is more, the young people will attend a youth parliament where they will not only get the opportunity to present their message towards Europe in an artistic way but also in a direct dialogue with politicians and journalists.
