Varieté de la Vie Dinslaken
"Dance-sur-price"
"Musica Vialis-Urban Street Music-Zic de la Rue"
"TWINS on stage"
"Varieté de la Vie" will be presenting the rich variety of life in Dinslaken in the form of music and dance. One of the three building blocks in the project will be a professional dance workshop entitled "Dance-sur-price", in which young people from the Ruhr Metropolis and its twin towns will be developing and choreographing a dance theatre show for the final gala show of "Varieté de la Vie" in the Ringlokschuppen in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
The Dinslaken band Pont neuf will be inviting street musicians from all over Europe to take part. Interested musicians will be able to contact the participants in a workshop via internet (http://vialismusica.blogspot.com). The street musicians will be turning the asphalt surfaces into an "unplugged" stage during the DIN-Tage town festivities, for the shows will have to do without the help of electricity. That said, DIN-Tage will also be offering a stage for electric guitars. Whether they be heavy metal, hip-hop or reggae, bands from all the participating twin towns will be blasting away the dust from the town at the "TWINS on stage" for two whole days.
